Serious trauma- ie hit by a car, kicked by a horse
Cannot breath, choking
Broken bone
Bloating, retching or unproductive vomiting
Straining or unable to defecate or urinate
Snake bite

Vomiting or diarrhea with a change in behavior
Eyes- redness, discharge or squinting
Porcupine quills
Blood in urine or stool
Wounds or injuries
Lameness with difficulty walking
Allergic reactions
Tick-bourne disease

Primary Care

Sneezing or runny nose
Coughing without Respiratory distress
Itchy ears or skin
Scooting
Limping
Hot Spots
Broken Nail
Vomiting or diarrhea 1-2x within 24 hours but acting normal

By calling ahead we can be prepared for the emergent arrival or we can send you directly to other emergency services. For urgent cases we can often fit you in as a regular exam or provide a drop off option.

Please realize if we are extra busy the best option of care for your pet during our normal office hours may be the closest emergency clinic.
